CV (PDF)

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Computer Science Department of Indiana University working as a research assistant for Rick McMullen. My advisor is David Leake. My broad research interests include case-based reasoning, knowledge representation and the Semantic Web, information retrieval, management, and visualization, human computer interaction, and intelligent tutoring systems.

Before joining the graduate program at Indiana University, I worked for the Institute for Human & Machine Cognition (IHMC) at the University of West Florida (UWF) where I received a Masters in Computer Science in 1996. During my tenure at IHMC, I was involved in projects related to knowledge modeling, educational tools, and expert systems. I also taught courses in object-oriented programming and computer graphics for the Computer Science Department at UWF.

After graduation, I intend to pursue a career in academia and continue to teach and engage in research in artificial intelligence and cognitive science. In the mean time, you will find me in the Cranium Lab in Lindley Hall or the Knowledge Acquisition and Projection Lab in the Showers Building.
