  • PhD Students: This List of PhD Forms and Requirements will save you a lot of trouble. Read it carefully and prepare your forms on time. The PhD Requirements List ( pdf) work sheet outlines the entire PhD process. If you entered the program prior to August, 2001, see pre-2001 PhD Requirements List ( pdf).
    PhD Course Requirements can be planned using the PhD course work sheet: see the online PhD course work sheet ( pdf ) or pre-2001 PhD course work sheet ( pdf ), depending upon when you entered the program.
  • Master's Students: Master's students should refer to the Master's work sheet ( pdf ) to plan the courses meeting their degree requirements.
  • Teaching Resources: The IU Teaching Handbook is now partially available online, and is an essential resource for students with teaching responsibilities.
  • Student Internships: Students requiring formal approval for internships involving temporary employment while keeping student status should refer to the Y798: CS Professional Practicum/Internship Course Permission Form ( pdf ). This form has full instructions for obtaining approval for an internship, enrolling in Y798, and completing the paperwork required when the internship is over. International students seeking internships will need to consult the Office of International Services at least 1-2 weeks before the internship begins.
