Ph.D. Minor in Computer Science

(Subsequent requirements, 23 May 1997.)

The material between the next two horizontal bars is intended to appear in the next edition of the Bulletin of the University Graduate School.

Doctoral students in other departments may complete a minor in computer science by satisfying one of the following options:

  • Three computer science courses totaling not less than 9 hours at the 400 level or above, excluding A courses and those not approved for graduate credit (see the course list). The 400-level courses currently approved for graduate credit towards the PhD minor are: B403, P423, P436, B438, B441, B442, and B443.

  • C311, C335, C343, and either C341 or one computer science course meeting the requirements of the option above.
