CSG FAQ

Q: How do I access Microsoft software through the MSDN?

Accounts on the Microsoft Developers Network (MSDN) Academic Alliance system are created each year for current CS and Informatics students, staff, and faculty. You should receive an email from the system with account information. If you do not have an account and are a current CS or Informatics staff, faculty, or student please let us know.

Once you have an account, you can log in and access software through the MSDNAA Software Center.

We have access to a large library of software through this program but not every package has been uploaded to our servers. If you need a package that is not available please just let us know and we will make it available if it is part of the MSDNAA program.
