Goofy Giggles IR Line Sensor

Overview

A line sensor array is includes on the external circuit attached to Goofy Giggles. This array is constructed with 6 Vishay/Siliconix TCRT1000 reflective optical sensors. These sensors include an IR diode (950 nm) and an integrated phototransistor to measure the reflected energy. In the line following application, the white background reflects the emitted IR energy while the black line absorbs the energy.
