June 29th, 2007 - Burrowww.cs.indiana.edu decommissionedOn June 29th, 2007, the Burrow cluster server named burrowww.cs.indiana.edu will be taken out of service. All Burrow Cluster users who are currently using burrowww should start using silo.cs.indiana.edu and migrate all server processes (web, database, etc) to this new system. Please note that Burrowww is an old Sun Solaris system and Silo is a Linux systems so they are not binary compatible.If you have data on the MySql server running on Burroww then you will need to request space on the new MySql server running on Silo and plan to move your data to the new database. Please let us know if you need help with this.
Please note that this does NOT affect the rest of the Burrow Cluster (and the
burrow.cs.indiana.edu name), just the one server named burrowww.cs.indiana.edu.
