September 3, 2003 - DHCP Registration ImplementedStarting on September 3, 2003, you are required to register the MAC/Hardware address of any device using the CS wired network in Lindley Hall. This includes laptop computers, networked hand-held devices, and personal desktop machines that you are using on the CS-managed portion of the wired network.This change has no effect on the wireless network, which will continue to be secured through the use of the Virtual Private Network (VPN) configuration. In order to register your device, please go to the Address Registration Page. You will need to login using your IU/UITS Network ID and password. Please see the Networking FAQ Entry for more information and please let us know if you have trouble. |
