November 2002 - New Support Help Desk Online

The Computer System Group (CSG) has a new problem reporting help desk system that you should use to report problems and make requests related to the department computing systems. You should use this new Help Desk System instead of the cs.system newsgroup to report any problem or ask any question that requires a response from the CSG. There is also an email front-end to the system that you can access by sending email to system. Previously, email to system went to the cs.system newsgroup but it now goes to the new help desk. This new system should make it easier to for us to track system requests and will not be subject to the comings and goings of the IU news server.

***PLEASE NOTE: If you previously submitted a problem report that has not been resolved, please resubmit your request using the new system since your report is likely no longer available.
