CSG Task Coverage Matrix Model

The model used to define the role of the various CSG members in each support area involves a primary contact and a list of secondary contacts. The primary contact in any one area is responsible for making sure that problems in that area are resolved. This does not imply that the primary contact will, or should, do the work necessary to resolve all issues since each of the secondary contacts has a responsibility to assist. A third support level, tertiary contacts, is also defined which includes members of the group that are willing and able to assist but have no direct responsibility to do so. This may involve people acting in an advisory role or those just interested in keeping up on things. In the aggregate, this collection of contacts over the collection of responsible areas defines the CSG Task Coverage Matrix.
