In this section I have briefly described about some of the projects that I have implemented.
So here it goes...
Working at the Information Visualization Lab at IU where I am part of the core development team of Epidemics Cyberinfrastructure (EpiC) group. EpiC will support the integration of large numbers of complex data sets at a variety of levels, e.g., population density, patient records, and social behavior, as well as state of the art analysis, modeling, and visualization tools capable of dealing with non-linear and complex phenomena emerging in large populations.
Developed a User Recommendation Engine for Twitter users using unsupervised learning / clustering
algorithms on short texts (tweets), existing social network, location, timing and other such metrics. In
addition to developing the codebase in Java, PHP, MySql platform; we conducted a user study and got encouraging results.

Developed Fluency – a Java Application that lets non-programmers develop their own applications and release working programs. Project involved usage of various design patterns like Command, Composite, Factory etc. in an industry like setup where I worked with a big team on an inherited code base and using the existing documentation to further develop the application. Extensively used CVS, JIRA – a bug tracker system, Fisheye - code review tool and wrote JUnit tests. To view the demo click on the more link.
Developed a primitive Java based Game Builder using some Design Patterns like Command, Factory, Observer pattern. Got pat on the back for this one and hence thought of putting together a video demo. Challenging part was the timeline - only 1 week and working with 3 other perfect strangers. Video dosen't have sound yet {will make a better demo when I get a breather!} To view the demo click on the more link.
Developed an online contact management portfolio system for the Kelley School of Business using ColdFusion, AJAX, Oracle, JavaScript. To view my project click on the more link.
In addition to migrating the current website of Office of Registrar from ASP to PHP platform written PERL scripts for maintenance of the website and automating the migration. To view the website click on the more link.
Developing an online job application system in PHP, MSSql and AJAX for the Human Resource department of RecSports, Indiana University as a part of curriculum project for Software Engineering course. It involves a disciplined approach towards design and implementation of information systems.
Developed a GPA calculator for the Registrar's Office at Indiana University in PHP. Currently it's in advanced stage of deployment. You can test the script by clicking on the more link.
Developed a system for implementing fault-tolerant group communication system using Threshold Cryptosystem to exchange messages in an unsecure Mobile Ad Hoc Network thus providing Availability and Confidentiality. Perl and C++ programming languages were used to develop the system. To view the demo of the project click on the more link.
Using Embedded C, PCB Designing, Microcontroller Programming created an Embedded System - a protoype for Smart House, that controls the household appliances via SMS to the device.
Using Web Technologies like HTML, ASP, JavaScript, VBScript & Oracle database developed a Greetings portal for sending & receiving customised Greetings.
Using JAVA Programming Language developed a Scoreboard Management Application for Different forms of Cricket and for different Teams. Analysis via Graphs was facilitated. Java applets were used for animation purpose. Click on the more link to know more about cricket.
Using ORACLE 8.0 developed application for managing database of entire Car Rental Agency providing Business Support Decisions.
