Twitter User Recommendation Engine by Amit Balode & Chintan Tank

Greetings!
I, Chintan Tank along with my team mate Amit Balode - computer science graduate students at Indiana University, Bloomington - would like to request you to take a 5-10 minute survey. Basically, we are doing a class project on Twitter & have built a user recommendation engine. By recommendation we mean to suggest you some Twitter'ers who could be your potential friends in the Twitter universe. The recommendations will be made on the basis of your Tweets, Location & Description (hobbies/interests). There might be chances that some of the recommendations might already be your friends but we did not consider your friends/followers while making the recommendations. The data we have collected to make these recommendations is publicly available.

We would be grateful to have your response as this will improve our project & you will (hopefully) will get some good user recommendations whom you can follow. So how will this work?

    We will create a web page for you having a list of Twitter'ers, you can browse their twitter profiles by clicking on their names & then for each user you can let us know whether you,
  • liked i.e. the Twitter'er could be your potential friend
  • disliked i.e. the Twitter'er can not be your potential friend
  • neither i.e. you are having mixed feelings about this Twitter'er
And thats it!

We would appreciate your participation!
Also we would like to mention that since this is just a class project we have no intention of publishing our results & to this effect we have not requested any institutional review board permission.
