Here I have mentioned a couple of places where I have worked in the past & what I did for them...
Working at the Information Visualization Lab at IU where I am part of the core development team of Epidemics Cyberinfrastructure (EpiC) group. EpiC will support the integration of large numbers of complex data sets at a variety of levels, e.g., population density, patient records, and social behavior, as well as state of the art analysis, modeling, and visualization tools capable of dealing with non-linear and complex phenomena emerging in large populations.
I work as a Software Developer on campus at Indiana University for Office of Registrar in a couple of domains. In the past I have worked in Database {SQL, Oracle} domain and Web Technologies {PHP, XML}. The GPA Calculator scripted by me in PHP is in the advanced stage of deployment on the Registrar's website. Right now I am working on scripts {PERL} which will be used for automated content extraction & manipulation.
I work as Web developer. One of the projects involved developing an online contact management system for the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University using ColdFusion, Oracle, JavaScript. I am responsible for the maintenance of the entire web portal. Earlier I was solely responsible for devleoping and designing the portal. To view the website click on the more link.
I have worked as a computing consultant. I was required to provide turn key configurations for Pioneer Creations, a multimedia production company. This was in addition to providing trouble shooting in the usage of computer domain.
I do freelance work as a multimedia editor. I have worked on professional multimedia production suites like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition & Adobe Photoshop. The deliverables were advertisements, industrial videos, documentaries.
