I really enjoyed the class–I had no idea how much I didn't know about programming languages. I'm certainly a much better student for having taken this course.
I just wanted to say thank you very much for doing a wonderful course on programming languages, though it often kept me awake at night :). Honestly, I changed my view on various aspects of programming after this course, especially on recursion. I used to think of recursion as something to avoid, but now I understand that language is the failure, not recursion. Moreover, I never knew things like passing continuations, trampolines, and monads.
