• Grace Hopper Travel Scholarships - WIC@IU has awarded several travel scholarships to attend the Grace Hopper Conference in San Diego, CA in October. WIC@IU would like to thank the scholarship sponsors: Department of Computer Science, Office of Womens Affairs, School of Informatics, and UITS.


• MidWIC scholarships
  

  MidWIC is the Midwest Celebration of Women in Computing conference. It will be held Sept 29-30, 2006 at DePauw University. Google and Microsoft have provided funding for scholarships. Apply here.

• InWIC scholarships
  

  InWIC is a regional Women In Computing Conference attended by women from schools all around Indiana. For more information about InWIC go here: http://www.cs.indiana.edu/inwic/

  For the most recent InWIC conference, held in February 2006, 20 scholarships were provided by WIC and 5 scholarships provided by Google. The Google scholarships were be used for students involved with Just Be. Several of the WIC scholarships (maybe 5 or 6) were reserved for freshmen and sophomore undergraduates who are just starting out in the CS or Informatics major.
