1. Introduction to Computers and Computing Concepts, by Beekman, Quinn, Pope, Snyder (Required Lecture Text)

2. Introduction to Computers and Computing Applications, by Grauer (Required manual for lab.)

3. An IU Network ID (All students should have one of these. Can be obtained at the Information Commons at the Wells Library).
   Optional:

4. Storage media (recommended: USB flash memory stick)

5. An IUware Security CD if you have your own computer. (The CD should come with SSH Secure Shell.)
