CSCI A112 / INFO I110:
Introduction to Programming with JavaScript

Required Materials

- Course Text: JavaScript: A Beginner's Guide, John Pollock
(pictured left).
- Computer Materials:
You need a UITS Network ID and password, so you can log on to the computers in the UITS STCs.
Each IU student is allotted space on Oncourse in which to save their work.
If you cannot access yours, contact your UITS representatives, in IMU084.

Project
You will need to complete a programming project in A112/I110. This project is worth 35% of your final grade.

Lab Quizzes
Chapter quizzes will be administered in most labs. These quizzes cumulatively count for 20% of your final grade.
These quizzes contain multiple choice, fill-in-the-blanks, and short answer questions.
Lecture Quizzes
Short multiple-choice quizzes will be administered in some lectures.
These will not be difficult if you keep up with the assigned reading.
Midterm Exam
There is a midterm exam in A112/I110, worth 15% of your final grade.
This exam will take place in class on Wednesday, April 4th.
The exam will consist of multiple choice, fill-in-the-blanks, and short answer questions.
Final Exam
There is a final exam in A112/I110, worth 20% of your final grade.
The exam will consist of multiple choice, fill-in-the-blanks, and short answer questions.
This exam will be given in the lecture room during exam week.
The time allotted for the A112/I110 final exam is 10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Wed., May 2.
Make-ups will only be given in exceptional circumstances conforming to department policy (see the policies page).
