First semester 2001-2002

I have created an e-mail distribution list, and I reproduce below the message that I sent to the list. Please make sure you find it in your mailbox. If you do not receive any such e-mail please let me know so I can add your username to the list.

Subject: A114/I111 Practical Exam

Dear A114 and I111 Friends,

This is the A114/I111 distribution list that I have just created. I plan to use it once a week (or, perhaps, twice every week) to send you information on upcoming events (such as exams), changes in deadlines, etc. and/or anything that I might post on the website that you might not check, or might not be able to see, in due time.

The Practical Exam is on Wednesday. Tonight (Sunday, 9/23) I will post a Practical Review Sheet. It is based mostly on the first 7 projects in the lab manual. It will be posted on the a114 website tonight, and will be accessible from the 'What's New?' page.

Tomorrow (Monday, 9/24) 9-10pm, in BH228, we have a Practical Exam Review.

That's 9-10pm in the evening.

In lecture on Tuesday we will again review any material needed for the Exam on Wednesday (that is, the Practical Exam, which is 15% of your final grade).

The Practical Exam on Wednesday September 26, during the lab, is open-book and open-notes; you can check the web, and do anything you want during the exam, except communicate with another person that is not an instructor in this class (that is Michael, Reuben, Raj, and/or Adrian).

Soon (early next week, likely on Monday 9/24) Homework 4 will be posted.

As soon as I post the Practical Review sheet I will send you another message, to let you know, and that will be it for today, re: this distribution list.

Tomorrow my office hours are, as usual, from 8:30am to 9:30am. If I am a little bit late tomorrow (there is a small chance that I might be) please wait a little bit as I will come for sure, as close as I can to 8:30am. And I will then stay in the office until 4:30pm, ready to take any questions, and to help you with whatever you may be needing help with.

I am now bringing the minute papers grades up to date.

If you have dropped this class or want your username to be taken off this distribution list (that I will be using exclusively) please let me know.

Also, if I can be of any help or if you have questions please let me know.

... Adrian
