CSCI A114 / INFO I111 PRACTICAL EXAM First semester 2001-2002

For the Practical Exam lab projects 1-6 are relevant.

Lab 7 will be due Friday Sep 28, in lab.

Here are problems in the lab manual that you should be looking at to prepare for the Practical Exam.

• A 1.63 problems 1, 2.

• A 2.48 problems 1, 2.

• A 4.57 problems 1, 2.

• A 4.58 problems 1, 2.

• A 5.58 problems 1-4.

• A 6.58 problems 1, 2.

In some cases I will be providing starting points, such as:

• The Computer Items Database

• The Galaxy Books Database

• The Sidewalk Scrapers Database

• need to download the relevant database

• change it, update it, enhance it with what's needed, then

• turn it in at the end on a floppy disk.

In that case you will need to use the Integration Feature at the end of Lab (Tutorial) Six.

The Practical Exam will be graded by Adrian.

Grades will be posted by Thursday night (9/27).

All floppies for the Practical Exam will be returned in lab on Fri (9/28).
