Work policy
Working in groups is encouraged but please turn in your own version of the assignment. Also, please make sure you read, understand, and comply with the Computer Science Department's Statement on Academic Integrity before turning in your assignment.

Task
There are two parts to this assignment:

  1. Solve the Premiere Products Exercise on page 64 of your textbook. Write down the relational algebra expressions that you are using to obtain the results indicated by each question in the exercise.

  2. Solve the Henry Books Case on pages 65 and 66. Please download the database and write QBE for each query. Then switch to SQL view, and copy the SQL down, and turn it in as your answer to that particular question. You are to turn in the SQL corresponding to your QBE queries.

Turn your answers in clear handwriting or typed, on paper, in lab, to your instructor.

Grading
Feedback will be provided within a week, grades will be posted on-line.
