Lecture Notes
We will cover chapters 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and Appendix A in the Pratt/Vaughn book in class. There will be six assignments (taken from the book mostly). Reading assignments will be assigned weekly. Midterm and final exams will be based on this book and the material covered in lecture. Very likely we will have a midterm exam after the first four weeks (end of September), and a final exam at the end (around October 25). More details will be posted on the web site. Very likely both exams will be multiple-choice and closed-book so start preparing early.

In labs we will be following the Access 2002 Shelley Cashman Pratt Lab Manual.

Lab Assignments
Each lab will come with a lab assignment. The lab assignment is due the next lab period. Lab Notes will contain all the details.

Grading
Course grades will be determined as follows:

Late policy: all assignments need to be turned in on time.
