A201 Introduction to Programming I (4 cr.) NMMC P: two years of high school mathematics or M014. Fundamental programming constructs, including loops, arrays, classes, and files. General problem-solving techniques. Emphasis on modular programming, user-interface design, and developing good programming style. Not intended for computer science majors. Credit not given for both A201 and A597.

Classes: two lectures and

Assignments: weekly programming assignments and short written quizzes.
