Subject: Midterm Exam tomorrow Dear A201/A597 Friends, The midterm exam is tomorrow. Here's a description of it: http://www.cs.indiana.edu/classes/a201-dger/sum2008/notes/lec0529.txt You have to prepare four programs as described (you choose the programs) come to class and write them down in the blue book without any assistance or references (the exam is closed book). You will be graded on corectness and on the choice of programs, combined. We'll discuss this in class today. We will also take any questions you may have. There is a lab assignment in lab today: it's very simple, you just have to come and follow the development, then submit the code you wrote while following what we do together on the projector's screen. Easy. The topic is: user-defined types (classes). That will be your intro to objects and object oriented programming in Python. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help. Sincerely, Adrian German --
