Several students have asked about tutor recommendations for this course. There is a tutoring service at the IU Black Student Union (5-5084, 109 N Jordan Ave), which is free to everyone... you don't have to be African American to take advantage of it.
Remember: we are available 12 hours per week to help you with this course! Please come see us during our office hours. You don't need a special appointment, and you are welcome to come to anyone's hours.
If you feel that you need more intensive, one-on-one instruction, then here is a tutor list of computer science students who are willing to tutor for this course. Please contact these persons directly.
Note: There is no fixed tutoring fee; the rate is negotiable between students and tutors.
These tutors have demonstrated proficiency in Java and the concepts covered in A201, but they are not officially endorsed by the A201 instructors or the Computer Science Department. If you have any complaints or comments about these tutors, please contact one of the A201 instructors.
