Homework Assignments

I will be posting the Homework Assignments on this page. It will be your reponsibility to check this page, print out or hand copy the assignment, and hand it in on time. When the HW is ready to access, the Date and Time it was POSTED will appear after the due Date below.

Homework is due at the beginning of class on the day/date posted. It will be returned the following class, unless otherwise noted. Any changes to this schedule will be announced in advance.

NOTE: There are different assignments for A338 and A538. Make sure you complete and submit the correct Homework assignment for the course you are taking.

ALSO NOTE: Late Homework will not be accepted. If you do not hand me the homework before I leave the lecture hall on the day it is due, your score will be 0 (zero). No exceptions.

ALSO ALSO NOTE: I will not accept ANY homework assignments via email or in any other form than hard copy. It is your responsbility to get your homework completed on paper and handed in by the announced date, in class, in accordance with the other course guidelines regarding HW. This policy is in effect from the first day of class.

ALSO ALSO ALSO NOTE: All posted deadlines are exactly that, deadlines. These are the latest times that you may hand in any work so posted. You are, however, always welcome to hand things in early. If you wish to hand something in early and are concerned about the process, please carefully review the next section.

SUBMITTING HW EARLY: If you wish to submit a homework assignment early, and can not hand it to me personally, this is the procedure:

Go to the CS Main Office in LH215 during regular business hours [M-F: 8-5].
Give your assignment to the person at the front desk.
That person will note, on your HW paper, the date and time you submitted the HW and then put it in my Mailbox.
This is the only acceptable method.
DO NOT use the CS Homework Drop box.
DO NOT put the HW in my mailbox on your own.
If it is not logged in by the person at the front desk, I will not accept it.
If you slide it under my office door when I am not there, I will not accept it.

A338/A538 Final Group Project Resources.

Later in the term, there will be two entries below. One will be a link to the Group Membership page. This will tell you who is in your Group for the Final Project. It includes first and last names as well as usernames. I suggest you confirm your information is correct and contact your partners as soon as possible. Note that all your partners are in your specific lab section, unless otherwise noted.

The second link will be to an easy-to-copy version of the Self-Assessment (SA) form.

Neither of these are currently available. When they are, an announcement will be made in class, on the newsgroups, and on this page.

Homework 4. Due Monday, December 8 IN class.
