Policies

Attendance at lecture is required.
Except for the homework assignments, the students are expected to work individually. Please read the Computer Science Department's Statement on Academic Integrity to understand the rules under which Computer Science courses operate.
The last day to drop the course with an automatic grade of W is March 10th, 1999. After that date, a student may drop a course only with the permission of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
No incompletes will be given for poor performance in the course. An incomplete (I) final grade will be given only by prior arrangement in exceptional circumstances conforming to university and departmental policy in which the bulk of course work has been completed in passing fashion.
