Home for the Holidays (Feb 6, 1999)

After almost a year in Saudi Arabia, I went back home for Christmas and New Year's. It was GREAT to be home. Saudi Arabia is a difficult place to enter or exit, so I looked forward to the trip home for months, especially for Christmas. My mother's family gets together every Christmas, usually in Omaha - it's a time for the whole extended family (about 30 of us now) to get together. It's very special for all of us. Plus, my sister and I planned a trip down to Savannah, GA to see the city so well described in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".
