CSCI A110 - Introduction to Computers and Computing
myITlab access for Mac OS/x users

You must have already registered for MyITLab [redeemed your MyITLab Acess Code and established a Login Name and Password] before using this Mac solution. If you have not done so, please go back to www.myitlab.com to register and establish your account.

The MyITLab Mac solution uses a remote desktop client to run MyITLab in a virtual Windows environment. To use this method of connecting to myITlab, you will need to install a remote desktop client (one time only). Thereafter, you will only need to open the remote desktop connection each time you access MyITLab to perform pre- and post-test study plans.

Please note the following:

you must be running Mac OS 10.5 or higher
this solution is not intended for MyITLab Grader Project activities
(you can open myitlab.com directly from Safari to do this).
this solution is intended for pre- and post-test study plans

Before you use MyITLab:

Do This ONCE ONLY

[ 1 ] Download the Microsoft RDC Application.

[ 2 ] Install by double-clicking the dowloaded file. This will launch the installation process.

This application will allow you to use the Remote Desktop file [RDP] to launch a virtual session of MyITLab.

Using MyITLab:

Do this EVERY TIME
