| 1. An isolated polypeptide having phospholipase C delta 5 activity, selected from a group consisting of:
(a) a polypeptide encoded by a polynucleotide comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3;
(b) a polypeptide comprising a polypeptide sequence having at least 95% identity to the polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO:
4;
(c) a polypeptide consisting of a polypeptide sequence having at least 95% identity to the polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID
NO: 4;
(d) a polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 4; and
(e) a fragment of the polypeptides in (a) to (d), having phospholipase C delta 5 activity.
