Weekly Lab Schedule

Labs will be held every week, except the weeks of September 7, September 28, and Thanksgiving. This schedule may be altered as we go, since it's impossible to tell how quickly some things will go.

Week of August 31: LAB 1: Introduction to the PC systems in LH115.

Week of September 7: NO LAB

Week of September 14: LAB 2: Testing your Network Interface Card.

Week of September 21: LAB 3: Tour of Computer Science Network Facilities.

Week of September 28: NO LAB

Week of October 5: LAB 4: Basic TCP/IP configuration parameters for Linux and Windows XP.

Week of October 12: LAB 5: Using WireShark and other available Tools to track Ethernet frames, TCP/IP Statistics, etc.

Week of October 19: LAB 6: IPv4 and IPv6 with Windows Vista.

Week of October 26: LAB 7: Review of TCP/IP with ARP and DNS.

Week of November 3: LAB 8: Linux Installation/Administration - Part I.

Week of November 10: LAB 9: Linux Administration - Part II.

Week of November 16: LAB 10: Windows 2003 Server/Vista Administration - Part I - Introduction to Domains and Administrative Tools.

Week of November 23: THANKSGIVING BREAK. NO LABS.

Week of November 30: LAB 11: Windows 2003 Server/Vista Administration - Part II - Working with Users, Groups, Profiles and Login Scripts.

Week of December 7: NO LAB.
