The Proposed Query System
We propose a database system with a query engine implementing a
complex text track, which goes beyond the simple Track Model
[3]. This database will be able to store the text track
containing the dialogs, direction information and other pertinent
things related to the movie script, linked to proper places in the
chain of frames. With this implementation, it will be possible for
the user to write various queries based on the text track, and either
view the results in textual format (if the result is part of the
script text) or in visual format (e.g., a part of the movie being
played).
