- Enjoyed making customer-focused improvements and enhancements
to
SAMI Workstation EX software that scientists use to automate
assays, and added support for Unicode
characters for our international customers
- Thankful to survive a recent cost-reducing
reorganization, and stupefied to learn one week later that
Beckman Coulter will
increase costs in 2006 by subsidizing unmarried cohabitation. The
social and business benefits of traditional marriage are well
documented. Focus on the Family
summarizes various
research on cohabitation, and Andree Seu of World Magazine illustrates the
slippery slope
of redefining marriage. The heart of the issue, however, is
moral authority: who decides what is right or fair?
“But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for
yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your
forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites,
in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we
will serve the Lord.”
—Joshua 24:15

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through
faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of
God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God
prepared in advance for us to do.”
