Assignment 4:
Social Issues: Acceptable Internet Use Policies

You are working for a company that encourages its employees to create personal web pages on the company server and encourages them to include some personal information on their web. The Chief Information Officer of the company has asked you to draft a policy for regulation of the content of these personal web pages.

Provide a concise (2-3 pages), well-reasoned argument in favor of your policy (anticipating arguments for some alternative policies). Prepare your response as an HTML document. You must include a minimum of 4 links to relevant web pages, such as policies for such purposes at other institutions and/or examples of barely acceptable and barely unacceptable content (no grossly unacceptable content that would be in violation of the IU policy!). If you choose to include pages that contain unacceptable content, you must explain how those pages violate the policy you have just created.
