If your code contains tabs (for indentation), they should be standard 8-space tabs. Otherwise, your indentation will look wrong when viewed in the standard way.
Use of Vincent in IE is enabled, but be sure to check that it works!
Internships provide great opportunities and may be available as early as the summer following your sophomore year. The Arts and Sciences Placement Office is offering an internship fair to which all IU students are invited January 31st, 10am-3pm, IMU Alumni Hall.

Assignment 1 and sample solution
If you haven't already done so, create yourself IUB-NT Domain
and CFS accounts using
accounts.ucs.indiana.edu at least a day before your first lab. You
should also have a floppy disk or
two with you to every lab and other time you are doing program development.
Also, it will be very
helpful to give emacs a try before your first lab. The resources page
has material on emacs, including a
recommended get-started tutorial.
Programming assignments are posted here before the lab in which they are introduced.
