Greetings and a wonderful day to everybody:

You are cordially invited to the 64th Midwest Theory Day which will be hosted by Indiana University Bloomington, on Sat Nov 23rd, 2013.

Prof. Stan Wagon from the Macalester College (author of Mathematica in Action: Problem Solving Through Visualization and Computation) will be our Distinguished Guest and he has kindly agreed to give a Distinguished Invited Talk.

Midwest Theory Day (MTD) is a conference held twice a year, usually on a Saturday in April and a Saturday in December, hosted by a school in the Midwest. Anyone interested in theoretical computer science is welcome to attend. Talks are scheduled so that it is often possible to come, attend all of the talks, and return on the same day. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. There is no registration fee and there are no proceedings.

Faculty and graduate students are invited to give a talk on their original research. Any topic related to theoretical computer science (taken in the broadest possible sense) is welcome. If you'd like to give a talk, please send a tentative title to Adrian German (dgerman@indiana.edu). If you plan to attend (whether you are or are not planning to give a talk) please RSVP to the same address (or use this form to let us know.)

The schedule of confirmed talks, with abstracts, will be posted here. More information, including travel directions, to be made available on these web pages soon.
