I am a Ph.D student in the Computer Science program of the School of Informatics and Computing at Indiana University. My research interests include using social tagging, such as social bookmarking, to improve search, exploration, and navigation on the web. I am interested in personalization and recommendation, visualization, and HCI design of interfaces that help users make use of the information available in folksonomies. I work on related issues in the context of the GiveALink project with Filippo Menczer, Benjamin Markines, and Lilian Weng as part of the Network and agents Network (NaN) research group in the Center for Complex Networks and Systems Research (CNetS).

In 2000, I received my BA in math and computer science from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN.
