We have reserved a block of rooms at the Indiana Memorial Union (IMU) for Friday night. The IMU is located directly on campus within walking distance to Lindley Hall.

A single room with one double bed is $99 per night. When you contact the hotel, be sure to inform the reservation staff person that you are attending the JETT workshop. Unless you identify yourself as a workshop participant, you may not be able to obtain a room. Please make your reservations early as the JETT block of hotel rooms will be released to the general public on October 21.

Bloomington is on Eastern Standard Time. At the time of the JETT workshop, Bloomington will be on the same time as New York City and one hour later than Chicago.

Travel by air

Fly into Indianapolis International Airport, not directly to Bloomington. To get to Bloomington from the airport, you can:

Take the Bloomington Shuttle, which goes straight to/from the Indiana Memorial Union (IMU). However, it only runs every two hours. Reservations are required.
Take the Classic Touch Limousine Service, which will take you directly to your hotel. Reservations are required.
Rent a car and drive yourself. Here are specific directions to the IMU. (Total driving time is at most 1 hour, 15 minutes.)
- From the airport terminals, you'll take a sharp 100 degree left curve; get into the far right lane.
- Turn right at the traffic light, and take the exit to 465 South, only about 200 feet from the light.
- Follow 465 as it curves and heads eastwards. Exit at 37 South.
- Stay on 37 South for about 45 miles, exit College Avenue.
- Continue on College Avenue and it will take you through the bustling downtown of Bloomington. Turn left onto 7^th street.
- After a few blocks and many stop signs, you will be on campus; there will be a large field to the right and then a gatehouse in the middle of the road. Turn right at the gatehouse.
- Park in the lot there; the cost is covered by having a room in the IMU.

Travel by car

Here are some directions to the IMU, at the heart of campus. We suggest you also consult Mapquest. Here is a map of the city and a map of campus. There is a parking deck on the corner of Atwater and Woodlawn called the Atwater Garage, which is only a short walk to the Computer Science department in Lindley Hall. Parking is free on Saturday.
