Happy New Year!

It's been an eventful year. Mira's decided she'll take a leave of absence and head to Google out in the "real world." I'll miss her, but I'm sure she'll have a great time out there.

I passed my written qualifying exams (finally), so now I can do my oral examinations (hopefully next semester).

I am working on projects that actually stand a fighting chance of getting published, and I have actually submitted one paper already - we'll see if it gets accepted.

I also feel like I stand a fighting chance of getting an internship in Summer 2006.

To anyone reading this - happy new year!

Yes, we are working on getting you that internship. Worry not, if at first things don't quite come through... you've got the talent.

Plus other great things are on the horizon.

    Here's to conquering the world!

    Congratulations.

If you do not meet with instant success, keep in mind that by the time Mozart was 10 years older than you are now, he had been dead for two years.

Not really sure where I was headed with that, but way to go on the other stuff. Especially the book 8-)
