So yeah, I got back from CA last Sunday, just haven't posted since then. Had a great time and saw a lot of cool places. I've started posting the pictures on Flickr, but the monthly limit stopped me from uploading all of them. I'll get the rest next month.

I'll spend most of this week driving to California with Mira. We'll be stopping in Kansas City, Denver, and Salt Lake City, and ending up in San Francisco for the weekend. I should have a few pictures when I get back, so stay tuned.

It's been an eventful year. Mira's decided she'll take a leave of absence and head to Google out in the "real world." I'll miss her, but I'm sure she'll have a great time out there.

I passed my written qualifying exams (finally), so now I can do my oral examinations (hopefully next semester).

I am working on projects that actually stand a fighting chance of getting published, and I have actually submitted one paper already - we'll see if it gets accepted.

I also feel like I stand a fighting chance of getting an internship in Summer 2006.
