Research
My research interests are in computer networks and their security. Currently, I am interested in revealing the various ways miscreants are misusing the Internet, in measuring the extent of misuse, and in developing practical techniques to defend against each kind of misuse. My publications can be found here.
In the past, my research focused on quality-consciousness issues in delivering large-scale content using technologies like peer-to-peer networks (for example, Gnutella and Kazaa) and IP multicast.
