Richard Veale
Cognitive/Computer Science PhD Student, Indiana University

I am a graduate student in the cognitive science / computer science joint Ph.D program at Indiana University, Bloomington.

My (academic) interests are rather wide and interdisciplinary, though they all revolve around the central theme of understanding the elegant and subtle mechanisms behind how humans think and act. My current approach is to use robots and biologically realistic neural models to explore how humans develop from drooling infants to (less drooling) toddlers.

I am at present stationed in the Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) lab, which has recently moved to Tufts University.
