Profile

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Computer Science Department of Indiana University-Bloomington. Before joining CS at IU-Bloomington, I had been in Computer Sciences Department at University of Wisconsin - Madison. Before starting a Ph.D. study, I had worked at a startup company, CyberMapWorld Inc., Busan, Korea.

Computer Networking, Distributed Systems and Database are my major research interest areas. Specifically Network Security is my current main focus. I work in the Network Research Group with Professor Minaxi Gupta and Professor Steven Myers. My journey as a computer scientist has started from the interest in Apple II computer, itself and the research interests have been being oriented and shaped from my solid academic and industrial backgrounds in network, database, and GIS.
