Here is a short clip [AVI] showing disparity results captured by the Bumblebee and colorized with warmer colors indicating nearer readings. The frames below are captured in sequence.
The wall to the right gives some sense of the stereo resolution in a five-to-twenty foot range. The lab bench to the left suggests the effect of chaf (or clutter). Grey areas indicate no reading.
The impression is that the Bumblebee will be of some help in locating obstacles in the near range by topographical estimation.
