^M Unfortunately, I ran out of space on this account and had to delete the majority of these pictures. I did a little checking and the most popular thing seemed to be the pix of Kanchanaburi/The Bridge over the River Kwai, which are included below.

The bridge is actually a rebuilt version of the one built and subsequently bombed during WWII. It was part of a railroad built across Thailand to support the Japanese troops in Myanmar (Burma) and India. The place was very hot and humid while I was there. I could see how people could die building such a structure, even if they weren't forced to.

I liked the view from the bridge...
