CGI and Plexus programs for a picons lookup/search service on the Web
are now available. This is the same as the service at
http://www.cs.indiana.edu/picons/search.html
and could be useful if you wanted to run your own local service for better
performance or different picons databases. JavaFaces requires a service
like this and can be configured to use either the www.cs.indiana.edu
one or any other.
The scripts are 'piconsearch' and 'piconsearch.pl' in the picons "apps"
sources in the Picons Archive at:
http://www.cs.indiana.edu/picons/ftp/
or directly for now at:
ftp://ftp.cs.indiana.edu/pub/faces/picons/src/apps-2.17.tar.Z
